Some days I just don’t want to try any more and some days there just isn’t a big enough Band-aid. Today is one of those days. Maybe because it’s Sunday and tomorrow I must go back to work, not a happy thought. Or because it’s cloudy and gray. Or maybe it’s just the weight of old patterns rearing their ugly heads. I know this too will pass, but I would like it to pass with more speed and less pain. No I don’t need a pep talk or a hug, I just need to breathe through it and I’ll be fine.
In the immortal words of Forrest Gump, “Sometimes, I guess there just aren’t enough rocks.”
